| The Hacienda Hotel is in Old Town San Diego,
a tourist-oriented State Park. Over forty-five restaurants are in
walking distance. At five nearby restaurants, you have signing privileges
to your hotel room. These restaurants are:

The Hacienda Hotel has seven buildings, several adapted
from a shopping area. Many rooms are unique. All have a mini-refrigerator,
microwave, coffee makers, free local phone calls, video cassette player,
and a fold-out sofabed. A number have balconies. There is a
guest laundry on the premises, and valet service is available. Please let
us know if you are constrained in your mobility -- not all rooms are equally
accessible.
We expect to block all convention members in proximity to the Smof Diego hospitality area. This may not be possible if you have special requirements, or if our membership exceeds expectations. Please let us know if you need more than this. The Hacienda Hotel's own toll-free number is 1-800-888-1991. The room rate is $89 single/double. Each additional guest in a room is $10.00. There is also a $3 energy surcharge still in effect.
